    A  Encryption is not part of IEEE1588 and therefore, it does not directly related to our solution. However, it does need to be considered at the system level as what type of encryption (i.e. at which layer) and where the Timestamping is done (i.e. at which layer) will impact time sync accuracy.  

  • Q如何能确定链路时延对称?

    AThis is a very critical question and it is also related to "Packet Delay Variation (PDV)" that will impact the accuracy. If the path asymmetry is fixed, then time difference can be calibrated out but if it's not, then there would be delay variation. Silabs' AccuTime Software is particulary good at dealign with PDV.
